Between being snowed in and having Winter Break, as of this morning, Parker had been to daycare for a total of 1 day out of the last 3 weeks. Since she's at that magical age where she sometimes cries when Mom leaves the room, I thought it was going to be a difficult drop-off to rival the very first day of school. Not so.
A couple of the other babies were having problems when we got there. Poor Ms. Erin was trying to soothe two screaming babies while Chase (his first day in the infant room) was just kickin' it on the floor with his pacifier, playing with some toys. I set Parker down in front of Chase and expected her to protest. Nope. It was more like... "Hey! Cool! Look at all of these toys!!" I walked into the kitchen to put away her food; she didn't even look up. I went to put the sheets on her crib; she didn't even know I was gone.
When I came back, she was climbing on poor Chase, trying to get his pacifier. What a bully! To fully understand the picture, you must know that Chase, while I don't know how old he is, is sitting up very steadily and is quite a bit bigger than Parker. Ah, Parker... already making the boys cry.
